1.      Make It Used

A used car is cheaper to repair and therefore cheaper to insure.

2.      Do Not Buy for Looks

As much as your young driver may protest, get them a practical and safe car instead of a sports car or fancy import. 3.      Assign to One Car

Tell your insurance agent that your teen drives just one of the family’s cars. It is possible to have them assigned to just that one car and only pay higher premiums on it, rather than on all the family’s vehicles. If you have a choice between a luxury and a practical car, pick the practical one.

4.      Pass a Driving Course

Sign up for a driving course and bring in the stamped completion certificate to your insurance agent. They usually offer a discount.

5.      Get Good Grades for Lower Rates

Insurance companies rewards student with good grades by offering lower rates. You will need to keep a B average or higher for these reduced premiums.

6.      Get Added On

It is almost always cheaper to have parents as primary insurance carriers and to add on the teenager to their plan than it is to have them get their own insurance. The only time this is not the case is if both parents have bad driving records themselves and drive fancy, expensive cars.

7.      Higher Deductibles Mean Better Rates

If you are confident that your teen is a safe driver, this can save you a lot up front. Raising a deductible will clear the insurance company of more responsibility in the event of a crash. They are often very willing to lower the cost of your insurance coverage, but you can lose a lot of cash if your teen gets into an accident.

8.      Do Not Get Distracted

Well, it is only two weeks after that both Lili and Ira have tried their toothbrushes, so I guess it’s already high time to make a review.. I waited two weeks to see how the toothbrushes affected my daughter’s and niece’s brushing style, and interest..

Since they have been exposed to Hello Kitty stuff, they of course liked the tooth brushes.. I personally love them, but unfortunately, they are for kids and not for adults, so I just have to enjoy myself look at them intently as they brush with delight.. The gentle bristles protect their gums from bleeding and the handles come with a suction cup that allows for the toothbrush to stand.. The cute Hello Kitty Sculpted with suction feet to stand up at the counter (P119 Watsons and SM), is what makes my niece really excited every time.. Her toothbrush is the one in the middle.. Cute isn’t it?

My daughter’s is the one on the right, the Hello Kitty Light up Timer Toothbrush (P189 Watsons and SM).. Just like her Firefly toothbrush, the brush has a light that lights up for 1 minute.. She just loves that.. So she excitedly brushes her teeth, as always..

This is my second entry for this meme. A lot of people around here enjoy a friendly gamble, and this particular day was an excellent example of how much people love fun and free money in my culture. I have many other would-be entries, but I chose this because I know there isn’t anything like this outside the Philippines.. Mabuhay! When I took this photo, a group of teenagers gathered for their weekly bingo game, prior to their Leaflet Distribution. The prizes are often varying amounts of cash-money for winners and there is always good food around, ensuring an entertaining game is a win for everyone… I tried to hurry and take a clearer shot before it could get too crowded.

Bluntly put, it’s Child Abuse… and clearly an act of violence against Janjan… I do not know if there is a provision that will allow anyone not related to Janjan to file the case. I think there is… I think I read that somewhere, will check for it though. But hey, it’s on national television.. The MTRCB and DSWD should do something about this..  Rescue Janjan from his family and relatives..   I am sure, every person with his or her right mind would agree.. I remember, one time, we were headed for my mother’s home-city and we had to take a 3 hour drive as early as 3 in the morning. So the night before, the cars were checked, especially the wheels. Unfortunately, we woke up late and found out that someone tried to steal the wheels of the Red Lady Bug.. the connections were loosened, that if we woke up earlier and went ahead with the journey, something bad may have happened to us.. So, after that incident, the boys, my father and brother, would check the cars’ wheels the night before and, of course,  the wee time before they will hit the road. Better safe than sorry..

I hope all of us will take that as a precaution.So it doesn’t really matter where you bought your car wheels, the most important thing is that, they are properly attached and properly molded.What’s with shiny or colorful wheels, if  they will cause the driver his life?
