What did you get your dads on Father’s Day? I got my father an after shave musk. It was one of those scents and things I bought from Victoria Secrets shop in Singapore, while I was there.. I thought I had given all the scents and things from their men’s line to my father when I arrived, but lucky me, even without budget, I still got him a present, lol..

Anyway, the necktie above is also a great Father’s Day treat, but my dad doesn’t wear a necktie so he is probably not going to use this anyway. It arrived the other day and I was really smiling when I saw it as the color is quite astounding— GOLD! I like it actually. But it is not for me, so I gave it to my father. And he was the one who gave me an idea that it was indeed a good father’s day gift, because he joked that his father’s day gifts continue arriving even when Father’s day has passed already.. Well, with my father, every day is Father’s day..

We just arrived yesterday from Camiguin, after a temporary relocation of some sort, lol.. Kidding aside, the vacation was good it had allowed me to breathe before hurdling another school year’s battle.. I am sure this school year will be very demanding and much more challenging..

Anyway, I am happy that even while I am away, I got really great stuff in my goodies basket..  They are not only for me though, but Lili as well..  I will simply show you a teaser, but I will blog about each of them later..

The book I have been waiting for arrived and I will start reading it soon.. I just have to finish so many unfinished tasks.. And below, the San Rio toothbrushes.. weehhh..

I have yet to experience what it would be like to stay at any of the Barcelona hotels. I dream of visiting Spain one day and one of the many things to consider is to find the best hotels to stay at and write about.. That would surely be a great post material for the travel blog I am currently working on. In my recent trips, I have used a discount hotel booking site, and it sure did saved me a great deal of money, considering that I stay at that specific place for more than three days. I know that there lots of cheap hotels in and around that city, but I still find my online hotel booking at that discount hotel booking site, much desirable. Imagine this, my room, if not discounted would cost P 1200 a night. Should they give out discounts, it will just be P 900 for the said room. But having booked online, I only paid like P 300 plus a night. What’s more, I get to write a review and earn points. And the points I earn shall be converted to dollars that I can use when booking another hotel in another place, the next time I travel. I did not only save, I also got this opportunity to be able to stay at another hotel, with much discount when booking my hotel the next time I travel.. Isn’t that amazing?

Of course, if you are a budget traveler, it is not just hotel bookings that you have to learn. I am sure many of you are familiar with airline booking as well. Every now and then, two airlines in the Philippines get loads of discounts on fare. What better way to schedule a trip when these discounted fares take place. Buy them, and prepare for the trip as it gets near the date.. Because both fare and hotel were booked with discount, many more people are traveling more than before..
