I have yet to experience what it would be like to stay at any of the Barcelona hotels. I dream of visiting Spain one day and one of the many things to consider is to find the best hotels to stay at and write about.. That would surely be a great post material for the travel blog I am currently working on. In my recent trips, I have used a discount hotel booking site, and it sure did saved me a great deal of money, considering that I stay at that specific place for more than three days. I know that there lots of cheap hotels in and around that city, but I still find my online hotel booking at that discount hotel booking site, much desirable. Imagine this, my room, if not discounted would cost P 1200 a night. Should they give out discounts, it will just be P 900 for the said room. But having booked online, I only paid like P 300 plus a night. What’s more, I get to write a review and earn points. And the points I earn shall be converted to dollars that I can use when booking another hotel in another place, the next time I travel. I did not only save, I also got this opportunity to be able to stay at another hotel, with much discount when booking my hotel the next time I travel.. Isn’t that amazing?

Of course, if you are a budget traveler, it is not just hotel bookings that you have to learn. I am sure many of you are familiar with airline booking as well. Every now and then, two airlines in the Philippines get loads of discounts on fare. What better way to schedule a trip when these discounted fares take place. Buy them, and prepare for the trip as it gets near the date.. Because both fare and hotel were booked with discount, many more people are traveling more than before..

Today, I heard about Ashford International, the new railway station located in the heart of Kent off the M20 motorway, in the United Kingdom. Well, technically, my cousin mentioned about it, I got curios so researched a little bit about Ashford railway station, and found out that it is the ideal access point from the UK to Europe with over 2,000 car parking spaces. It is also good for the environment as rail offers lower carbon dioxide emissions than on flights from an airport. So if you are looking for Trains to Paris, or those from London St Pancras to Belgium, Ashford is what you should be looking for…

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina..

“The truth is, I never left you all through my wild days, my mad existence.. I kept my promise, don’t keep your distance…” That’s what I hear over the radio just now. It reminds me of Evita, the musical that featured the life and love of Evita Peron. I loved that so much, the music from all the scenes still remain fresh in my mind. It is as if I am transported back in time, and I enjoy a great Argentina Travel.. Live in the magnanimous Argentina Hotels, as well as the very famous Buenos Aires Hotels. Oh what a beautiful sight that must be. Me, back in the days where Evita rocked the watering hole of the well to do.. hahaha.. Silly me..

On second thought, Argentina is still such a beautiful country to visit. Even at present time, I wish to be transported there and back. That would really be economical, and fast, rather than board a plane and well, litterally travel, check in to one of the many Bariloche Hotels and have my time in the city where Evita Peron used to trudge.. Well, a dream is a dream..But who knows, it might just be a reality..

My Stay at Jupiter Suites

It is a very cozy hotel right at the heart of Makati City that is known for those who go on a budget travel in Makati City. But guess what, it is more than just being affordable. It is also communications friendly. You have 24 hours free use of the telephone line plus, it is the only Makati hotel with free internet. If you go to other hotels, you will be charged for Internet access.

The room was our sanctuary and refuge from the heat while it continued to be very warm and humid outside. We enjoyed an air-conditioned room with 2 huge beds and a 3rd bed which is a single bed— that could actually accommodate an entire family. Well actually, Mommy Phebie and I shared a Family Suite. Family Suites will cost only P 4,580.00 a night. Other bloggers like April and Keiven from Davao, each stayed in a Standard Suite that costs P 2,980 a night, while others like Junelle and Mj from Ilo-ilo, or Jorich and Clarence from Cebu, shared Deluxe Suites. Deluxe Suites cost P 3,580 a night.

Personally, I loved the hot and cold shower for I am always taking hot showers and baths even at home. But this time, I need not heat water as it casually flowed in our shower room. Hot baths are soothing and relaxing especially when I feel dead tired after a day’s work in front of the PC.

Another great advantage of our stay at Jupiter Suites is the fact that we have continued our online tasks right inside our room as they have available WIFI connection. If for some reasons a guest is not able to connect to WIFI, they will provide you with LAN connectors to easily get Internet access. Now, if for example you do not have a laptop with you, but may need to go online, they have a business center where you can use their PC for free and it is just within the building so it is safe. And speaking of safety, a 24 hour security is assured of all guests at Jupiter Suites.

Mommy Phebie and I bought foodies like brownies and candies that we freely placed in our refrigerators to keep them cool, and drinks are readily available to match them. I noticed that the price is even cheaper compared to other hotels I have checked in. Coke in can and bottled water is only P 33 each while it will already cost P 45 in other hotels.

Oh, and the closet are huge enough with lots of hangers so you can really store your clothes and stuff to keep things tidy. And the best part, I love their fresh clean sheets that when I sleep and cover my face in them, I could almost instantly drift to dreamland..

The staff are courteous and you could actually leave your precious stuff without worrying if some burglar may rob you of such things. Dependable Wheels

When one travels by car, or truck, and it is a long drive ahead, one must check the wheels of his vehicle. Well, actually, even for short drives, wheels need to be checked in the same manner. They should be in good shape and the connections must be checked as well.

I remember, one time, we were headed for my mother’s home-city and we had to take a 3 hour drive as early as 3 in the morning. So the night before, the cars were checked, especially the wheels. Unfortunately, we woke up late and found out that someone tried to steal the wheels of the Red Lady Bug.. the connections were loosened, that if we woke up earlier and went ahead with the journey, something bad may have happened to us.. So, after that incident, the boys, my father and brother, would check the cars’ wheels the night before and, of course, the wee time before they will hit the road. Better safe than sorry..

I hope all of us will take that as a precaution.So it doesn’t really matter where you bought your car wheels, the most important thing is that, they are properly attached and properly molded.What’s with shiny or colorful wheels, if they will cause the driver his life?

at the Manila Ocean Park

Day 2 of our Blog4reviews Vis-Min Blogger’s Manila Trip, we went to Manila Ocean Park and had a blast at the Oceanarium.. It was an experience that is worth experiencing again. As I write this piece, I am thinking of going back with Lili so she too can experience the fun and excitement to see all those amazing fishes and other attractions that Manila Ocean Park can offer. Of course, I would love for her to have plenty of pictures like the once we took, lol.. She loves photo-ops..

Oh Crocos.. hehehe

After which, we had a therapeutic girls bonding at the Fish Spa..

After that, we headed back to Jupiter Suites to check out, went to Krispy Kreme Ayala Branch for the Blogger’s Krispy Kreme Day, which was the last activity before leaving Manila to head back home.

LIVE LIFE IN FRANCE

I always dream of going to France and live life in the romantic sense…lol… Well, French people are always known to be the world’s most romantic… I will establish myself there, get a house by getting a crédit immobilier or the so called real estate loan in France. Any type of house will do. A chateau would be good. A bit dreamy or a castle perhaps? Ahahaha… I wish… But reality permits Chambres d’hotes avignon only.. Well, that too can be a good enough residence while in France… At least I won’t have to roam the streets, lol… So long as the salle de bain (the French term for bathroom) is clean, I won’t mind really…

At least I will have a chance to be able to live my fairy tale life in France… Oh well, fairy tales sometimes come true.. Wish me luck…

TRAVELING IN FRANCE
