I saw the new designs of furniture at my favorite furniture shop’s window downtown and I just love all the new designs they have. I can’t believe how far they have come. They have only started this really small space 5-6 years ago and now, their showroom is bigger and all the furniture used in the office are made by them. Of course, that should be the case. It would seem silly to be manufacturing and selling furniture and not use their own products. Most of their designs are modern.

Well, I think  everybody loves a Modern Furniture. Especially the hip and trendy designs that seem to go with the trends in fashion, and many others in this era.

The colors are also very modern. You can almost match them with your attire, lol..  But look at the modern bed. I found that online and it is kinda simple, but I like it’s simplicity. Natural colors, yet very modern design.

Which reminds me, Lili found this really cute picture of  a little girl with her custom made modern furniture as she was playing house. Guess why she likes this picture so much… lol.. If  you say pink, you guessed it right. She tells me that is what she wants to get.. But she wants them taller than her..

Oh well, kids these day really know what they want.

Carmz had been telling me about a couple who lives in their barrio, who are both in their old age.  The woman could no longer stand because of some complications with her feet, but she can sit down and do some tasks that way.  Of course, most of the major tasks are all done by the husband in his 8Os. Every day, he would fetch water from the well, and fill all their containers for her, while she will wash their clothes and do chores sitting down. Cooking is even done by him  because their kitchen is outside their shanty.

All the neighbors talk about how good a husband he is and how lucky she is. But their children never visit them because according to tales, the couple were not really that nice to their kids, while they were growing up. But some would also say that their sons married greedy wives, who somehow let their children support the wives’ parents in old age instead of them. The tales continue, but not one really knows the exact reason why the children of the couple never get to visit their parents.  And because of this, the husband is always worried for the wife. Often, he would ask neighbors of what may become of his wife, if and when he will pass on first and she is left alone in their house. The neighbors of course, have accepted the fact that one day, whether they like it or not, the man may die first and they will have to care for the wife.

According to Carmz, the wife, having a loud voice, is often heard by the neighbors as she prays in the morning and evening, and even at dawn. And what’s really nice about this woman is that, she has learned to pray for each and every member of her neighbors’ families. Good health, blessings and happiness. So if she or her husband faces a problem, usually related to health concerns, neighbors would rush to them as if they are their family.. for better or worse, their neighbors are ready to help them both..

Wow! This is such a positive story despite the fact that the area is full of people who are  not well off, and are needing help as well. I pray that the said community may be blessed more than their cup can hold.. But then, I think, the woman has already  said that in her prayers.

Truly, if we do good for other people, such goodness comes back to us..because the people we do good to, may be praying for blessings for the goodness shared.. Nice.. Truly inspiring..

Lockers are great when there are many people in a vicinity that would require their own personal space to lodge personal belongings for the time being that they are at the premises. That is why School Lockers are very useful in maintaining order in a campus just as Gym Lockers keep every piece of clothing, specially undergarments and all others meticulously tucked in private.

Every Locker is personal, thus requires a key that only the owner will be able to have access of. Whether it’s a School Locker or a Gym Locker, it is personal space and personal it should remain. In my previous workplace, we have Wood Lockers that have cute little padlocks. Every Wood Locker has a mail box type slit on the door for mails, lol. So it doubles as personal mailboxes.

Online, there are many Lockers for sale and it is not just the steel lockers or the wood lockers that you will find. Some of them are even personalized. In short, they have personality and their owners choose how they should look.
