EMPOWERED MOM

Lili and I were looking into a few photos while browsing photobucket, and we found this really beautiful Pink Chevy.  And I saw how her eyes sparkled when she saw such unique pink beauty. It was like love at first sight. She then told me that she wants to have this Pink Chevy when she is old enough to drive. I listened intently and I could not imagine my little girl wanting this car at the age of four.

I told her, if she wants this so much, we should print a copy of this image of the Pink Chevy and add it to our “Vision Board”, and of course, she agreed.  I could just imagine her, like my father, looking for chevy accessories to match the old car and beautify it all the more. I guess she got that flair for old cars from my dad. By the way, this Pink Chevy is called Elvis Pink Chevy. By the name alone, you’d know which era it was manufactured, lol..

So now what? My four year old thinks like a 40 year old, wants an Elvis Pink Chevy, and  wear pink heels.. OMG! Is she some kind of superstar from the 50′s?

So to balance the sense of time, I asked her if she will change her mind once she sees another Pink Chevy or any car for that matter, and her answer made me laugh. She said that if she will see another pink car, she will buy it, give it to me, and the two of us will race our pink cars.. OMG!!

Thinking about this makes me smile and laugh on the inside. Lili is such a sweet girl for planning to buy her dear mom a pink car. And I guess with the thought alone, and  her wish for this dream car– the universe will provide in the near future. Because even if she is wanting the car for herself, her desire to share is also vibrating a positivity to the universe…

By now, most of us have done casting our votes. And I am sure all of us are anticipating the results. I found this link at plurk, plurked by Kris Aquino herself..
