These two  doesn’t go together? Family Time and Power Interruption does go together, when it’s permitted to be..

Today, my class and I spent only 30 minutes in class. When the brownout started at 6pm, we were all on our way out of the gate.  I was at Mercury Drugstore when my sister sent a text message saying that they will be going to SM. And I told her that I want to go with them since I do not have a class due to the power failure.  They have planned to go to SM after dinner because of the same reason. And so I went to SM and met up with them..

First, we shopped for Lili’s and River’s costumes for their closing program, and a few more to add to their wardrobe,  then we went to Quantum and Worlds of Fun.. Then we ate waffle dogs and bought a few more foodies from Watson’s. We headed home before SM Cagayan de Oro closed. When we arrived home, we only had to wait a few more hours/minutes then electricity came alive again..

This rotational power interruption is crazy, and is really giving a headache for everyone.. But, like all other adversities, we simply need to find what’s best about every situation.. After all, it’s all a matter of perspective..

My family had fun, especially the kids.. What more can I ask for.. Not asking for power interruptions to frequently come but, I am hoping we will be able to keep our cool when they come so as not to ruin a good family bonding..
