EMPOWERED MOM

I passed by Cepalco and while walking towards Informatics, the image above was what I saw. A man whom society considers an outcast, was trying to build a fire as if he is going to cook something.. But he only has a small can and some withered twigs and leaves and paper to make the fire.. I couldn’t quite imagine what he was supposed to do, but I presume he will be boiling something.. It was around 2 in the afternoon, and the weather was cold and windy.. Maybe he is just trying to warm himself up… hmm.. For the first time, I have allowed myself to only be an on looker.. The man I met, who was also looking at him told me he is dangerous, and that he has managed to attack someone without that person doing anything to him… tsk..tsk..tsk.. Wish I was able to do something…

My friend Danny is having lots of problems these days. He says all of them are related and somehow he points to just one root cause, he has H.I.V…. uhm, not HIV okay! HIV meaning, Hair Is Vanishing, lol… Well, his family has a history of being bald or having bald spots, and some or most of his relatives have receding hairline… Ouch! So because his hair is thinning these days, he feels that his life is about to end.. He couldn’t get a date, he couldn’t get a better paying job, he couldn’t do the things that he wants to do.. So no matter how much I tell him about provilus, he just doesn’t want to listen anymore. Poor Danny… I don’t know how to console him anymore… Any idea?

I tried hooking him up with this lady who works at a parlor, but it seems that she has not done anything but make him feel down. whew..Maybe next time I should just hook him up with a nice not so old lady that is motherly and caring. Hmm.. Thelma says that Danny may need to see a shrink…Hmm.. if you ask me, that is too much already..But then again, maybe that will help..

I was quite amused at first when, upon staring at the woman’s left foot, I saw her bandage, or so I thought… I thought, they were outrageously huge… But perfectly shaped.. So I stared some more and found out that it was a pantyliner that covered her wound… WOW! Some initiative there! Then I thought it was quite a pitiful sight… I guess her wound is so big that she needed something really big to cover it with (Area is from the dorsal part of her metatarsals up and around the spot that shows in the photo, I couldn’t take a photo while she is in front of me, so I was only able to get the back view).. Hmm.. I hope it will heal fast so she won’t have to wear that again…
