PBM Products VS. Mead Johnson Claims
Monday, January 11th, 2010This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you use PBM Products for your kids? When Lili was yet a baby, I used NAN but eventually changed her milk to suit her needs. I guess many parents would do the same for the benefit of their children. Some would even spend so much on formula alone if only to ensure that their babies are getting the right nutrition. But of course, there are also alternatives to help us save. After all, no milk would ever be in the market if it did not pass through BFAD…
Just recently, I read an article about how PBM Products has won a $13.5 million false advertising judgment against Mead Johnson. In a ruling that was announced, U.S. District Court Judge James R. Spencer supported a November 10 jury verdict and in his written ruling permanently enjoined Mead Johnson from making future false advertising claims against PBM and store-brand infant formulas. Mead Johnson has made claims based on nutritional superiority over store brand formulas. PBM successfully argued that its formulas contain the same nutrients at the same levels as the Mead Johnson brand Enfamil and LIPIL. And in addition, they cost up to 50% less than Enfamil and LIPIL which allows parents to save as much as $600 per year on their formula purchases.
Hmm.. What do you think?
