For many days now, I have allowed Lili and River to play with earth on the front yard, provided they wash their hands after. Well, I believe that making them touch earth is not at all a bad idea. I believe it is healthy for them and for the environment too.. I do not want them growing up loathing earth and mud only to end up in an uncomfortable situation with it later on.
Well, they have proceeded in making me mud cake and necklace out of the little yellow flowers that they picked from the bush out front. And the other day, I was amazed at what the two did. They were making mud chocolate bars. All of a sudden they came calling and rushed to tell me about Tinka and Blinka. At first I thought that Tinka and Blinka are figments of their imagination, lol.. But no! The two are the bugs they found in the bushes. Tinka is red and black with white spots and Blinka is all green in color. I was about to take a picture of the two when they flew away. What struck me afterwards was Zarelle’s statement saying: “Oh no, our friends flew away. Now we do not have fairy friends anymore…” So I told her that bugs are not fairies. But Lili said that the bugs are just pretending to be bugs.. They are actually little fairies like Tinkerbelle.. hmm.. kids.. kids.. kids..
