The moment he entered the hall, Mommy Phebie, Mommy Laine and I were awed by his presence. A good looking man towering in height (we were sitting down, lol) smiling with his very cute dimples showing. We knew he was one of the speakers but it was only when another participant mentioned that he is Vicky Belo’s lawyer did we realize he was Atty. Adel Tamano—-
I learned a lot from his talk. Actually, he already told us that it may not sound fitting for the bloggers conference but in the end, indeed it was. I learned that he is the youngest president of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, a graduate of Harvard University and he showed us how he transformed PLM and was really glad he shared the info. The last time I was inside the campus, it was different from the pictures I saw on the slides. And the best thing is, students at PLM enjoy free Internet and subsidized meals. As we all know, these two are essential to education. Technology and Nutrition.
Atty. Adel Tamano is not only a sight to behold, he is not only brilliant to win cases in court, he is also humanitarian, pro people, pro development and a true Mindanaoan…

I was a witness of how you guys were looking at Atty. Adel Tamano when he came in. It was like you were all gonna leave you husbands for him. Lol. Just kidding.
Yes, he is indeed a very bright man. Quite cultured also. Jose Rizal has always been my role model. Been reading a lot about his biographies and works before, and it was really him who shaped me for who I am today. That morning when listened to Atty. Adel Tamano, I kinda thought, hey this guy could place second to Gat Jose Rizal. His being idealistic and his determination to realize those idealisms were what awed me. Though I do not really know as of now if I could take each of his words, especially now that it’s so close to elections. But I’m still placing my bet on him. I hope he is the man I ideally think of him.
