Ritual Offerings

When my mom travels to the different places where our tribal brothers and sisters live, they are often met by rituals and to witness them is not at all new to my mother and her office mates… In my other blog I shall be discussing about rituals. In this post here, I would just like to share a sneak peek of what goes on when a ritual is done. The photo on the left is the ritual offering table where food and drinks and all others are placed as offerings for the deities and the gods… This is then accompanied by music and dancing and a bae, or baylan who will be officiating the said ritual…
There is a ritual for everything. A blessing sought or a blessing being accepted and readily given thanks for, even for any activity that a tribal person or family is going to have. Anything that happens to each and every member, the tribal community is involved through this rituals…
