It seems that with the recession going on all over the world, many companies are closing and some may not have done so but have managed to cut down on labor and employment. Some workers were retrenched while others were forced to resign, with or without pay— Sad, isn’t it? But of course, even if there is recession, there are also new companies that sprout all over like seeds that have grown overnight— I guess they are the ones who would need to buy new office chairs and office furniture… lol..

My friend Venus and I were talking on my cellphone when all of a sudden I slipped and accidentally threw it on the ground. So there. Goodbye my dead and beaten phone. At least now you have found your way to rest, lol… Anyway, I asked my cousins about what possible phone replacement I should buy and all of them different answers. Norie says I should go for latest Nokia model, the slick and slim with all the best features like music and games and all cool stuff. But of course, I don’t mind having a very simple phone since my sole purpose in owning one is to call or send text messages… Then Tony, the friend I have not seen in a million years, popped up on Ym and told me to buy a mobile phone in Sweden, where he is right now, lol… Funny… Then we got cut off so that ended it…

My cousin Blue, in his current email, wrote about phone shops uk and I was really amazed at what I discovered. According to him, it is cheaper to buy phones and other gadgets there than here in the Philippines. Hmm, so maybe that was what Tony meant.. Buying teh phone outside the country is cheaper than here… tsk  tsk tsk… Anyway, Blue gave me a link of a website that shows just that. Here in the Philippines we only have 4 companies competing, yet they differ in service and savings. Ironically, to save, more and more Filipinos end up signing up for all four.. Can’t beat that huh? lol…
