DTR, Gagay and I had a grand time while visiting our old friend, Anton, a.k.a The ever Gorgeous Single Gay Dad… hmmm… He always loved it when I say that… hahaha… We loved the foodies he prepared for us and all the stuff in his kitchen. Including those that he simply places there to tell his friends how lucky we are for having him as a friend…Hahaha, don’t worry dear, I did not get the cutlery set as I joked I would…

It was a reunion of some sort, four people reminiscing the old times… the good times, and catching up on each of our lives. Funny how we can become so engrossed in our little worlds, that sometimes we forget to simply sit and enjoy a friend’s company.. And there we realized how fast time had flown. Anton’s kid and mine have grown. DTR and Gagay are still on their way, I think… Being a single parent is not easy. At least me and my friend shared that common denominator so we kinda understand each other more… not to mention the fact that I consider myself a female version of a homosexual… not a lesbian okay! Just “BAKLISH” or “BAKLAESH” in nature… So anyway, we had our exchange of mommy moments talk and it was so funny that Anton brought it up. See, at some point in the visit, I couldn’t help but show them my blogs and all the wonderful things I have discovered in the Internet. And because our friend is fond of a great find, I introduced my favorite online gift shop, Posylane.com. And so Anton was complaining that we did not greet him for mother’s day, so he said he is entitled to get a gift each from the three of us for father’s day. Hahaha.. One thing great about being a gay dad is that you get to celebrate both mother’s and father’s day… And now he is asking us gifts because we ought to be punished for forgetting to greet him, hahaha… So okay, fine! We’re getting him a present. We made him choose his gift. Guess what he chose? He wanted us to give him personalized kids backpacks, a laundry bag, and a baby memory book. HUH? What for? His answer? FOR HIS KID.. so he is a mommy alright. The backpack for his son who is going to school soon, the laundry bag is self explanatory, but the baby book does not sound convincing enough. I asked him if he is going to have a new baby… We all laughed… We ended up looking at the pictures of Shy Blue (that’s his kid’s nickname) since birth that he has not compiled yet. Ok, so I think that explains it.

When we left his kingdom, the three of us had to ask each other as to who should give what.. Dear Anton always gets his way with us.. We simply love the guy..

I know you are following my blogs.. Happy Father’s Day dear friend… I love you..
