EMPOWERED MOM

I feel funny. I have decided that today, my daughter’s and my baby brother’s third day in school, I will take a leave of absence. So here I am doing my tasks at home and online. I wanted to test if my daughter will be fine without me there. Anyway, my father and Bisa are there for them… For two days I have watched intently as a mother should… But now I feel really funny not having my daughter here in the house. I am playing the TV loudly and I am at her favorite channel, Playhouse Disney.. Gosh, I think the separation anxiety hit me more than my three year old.. UGH!! I can’t wait to see her later after school…
I have never felt this way before.. Whew.. now I could imagine how it would feel like when she reaches college or gets married…
